Hotel Vergina was built in 1980 on a site that Kruussovo Inn was operating since the late 1900s. Back then, the Inn was considered to be located on the west entrance of the city. As the city of Thessaloniki expanded greatly in the last fifty years, the Hotel Vergina is now considered to be in the center of the city.

Since 1988, operates under current management with a strong commitment to improving the equipment as well as the level of the services offered. Thus, the rooms are currently being renovated for the second time since 1988 so that they best meet the needs of today's traveler.

In 1998, all public access areas were renovated aiming towards creating a comfortable and hospitable environment. In 1999, after a real estate acquisition, the hotels first floor was expanded by approximately 400sq.meters and five new conference rooms were created in addition to a new lounge area and the necessary secondary areas. Through the application of modern technology, most of the walls of this new area are removable allowing multiple size and shape options.

In the same year, the Hotel Vergina became a member of the Best Western of Hotels, the largest, privately owned, chain of hotels in the world.

All 133 rooms of the Hotel Vergina are equipped with a 14" TV.
Remote controls are obtained at the front desk upon arrival.
Instructions for use of remote control and pay TV can be found
on your nightstand.
All 133 room are also equipped with a mini bar , an air-conditioner, hair dryer, wash cloths and a cup of warm water for your coffee or tea.

Safety-Emergency-Fire.

The hotel is equipped with fire extinguishers and smoke detectors in every room and public access areas. Public access areas are also equipped with water sprinkler system. Emergency exits are located on the ground floor, the facilities floor (Bar, Restaurant floor) and the seventh floor. In case of emergency the sirens will sound. Remain calm. Listen for information and instructions through the speaker system. Abandon the building through the closest to you available exit as shown on the plan behind your room door. Do not use elevators.

Room service is available 7:00 till 21:00 with a variety of snacks,
sandwiches and drinks.

Mini bar

Your mini bar is supplied with a variety of soft drinks, liqueur,
and snacks. The price list is located next to the mini bar. Mini bars are resupplied every day.

The hotel restaurant is located on the second floor. It offers a variety of Greek and Mediterranean specialties.
Every morning from 7 a.m. until 10, the restaurant is open for breakfast and offers American breakfast buffet.
