Location
The Acropole Delphi is a modern hotel in local traditional style, centrally located in a quiet area near the town center and only 400m from the Archaeological site & the famous museum, 8km from Arachova, 27km from the ski center of Mt. Parnassos, and 25 km from Galaxidi.

Rooms
The top-floor bedrooms have steeply sloping wood ceilings, in a cosy attic style. Beds and other furnishings are modern, in plain wood, and care has been taken in the choice of brightly-patterned curtains and bedcovers which brighten each room. But the big selling point is the million-dollar view from each balcony, looking down several hundred meters across the Gulf of Corinth.

The area of Delphi
Delphi’s  main attractions, is a pleasant surprise and has far more character than its attractive, but not particularly individual, exterior and stone-tiled sitting room might suggest.

This is far and away the most appealing place to stay in Delphi (which is notably short of hotels of character, as most visitors stay only one night). As it is only five minutes’ walk from the ruins of ancient Delphi, it is an excellent base for exploring, and the substantial buffet breakfast will keep you going until dinner time. Owner Costas “Babis” Kourelis is friendly, helpful and speaks good English, and his staff  are equally amiable. The hotel’s parking is especially useful since it is often hard to find a place to park on Delphi’s narrow streets.

How to get to Hotel Acrople Delphi ****

You get a TAXI or UNDERGROUND Railway to the bus station in Athens (located at 260, Liossion Street, Tel.: 210 8317096)
Take a bus to Delphi.
You will travel for approximately 3 hours. See bellow the timetable.
Arriving at the Delphi bus station (Tel.: 22650 82880), opposite there are steps going down Filellinon Street (the lower street of Delphi).
Take the steps down and turn left. The hotel is located 200m on the right side of the street.
