Within walking distance from our hotel, Kalyves Beach is well known for its 500 meters plus of clean sand and its clear, calm, blue/green, shallow waters, making it ideal for children.  The various restaurants on the beach offer a variety of menus including local specialty dishes and fresh seafood.  Refreshments by the beach are available from sunrise to sunset and beyond.

Kalyves is a magnificent seaside village at the edge of Souda Bay, just 17 km from the port of Souda, 20 km from the center of Chania and 25 km from the airport of Chania, on the Island of Crete, Greece.

Crete, the largest of the hundreds of Greek islands, is located at the southern most part of Greece, in the center of the Mediterranean Sea.

ROOMS AND ACCOMMODATION

The Sunrise Suites Hotel consists of 27 large rooms and suites.  A sizable lobby that includes the reception area, a lounge area and a snack bar.  A pool area with a large fresh water pool for adults, and a smaller pool for children, a snack bar and ample room for lounging and sunbathing.

Each room has an individual air conditioning/heating unit, full bath, cable T.V., internet service, safe, kitchenette (cook top, refrigerator, cookware, serving dishes and utensils), coffee maker, and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.  Each room has a spacious balcony with a full view of the Mediterranean Sea.

Suites include a separate room with an air conditioning/heating unit, cable T.V. and a seating area with sofa that can easily be converted to a bed.

Each room and suite has ample space for a bassinet, crib or additional bed upon request.

SERVICES

Accommodations for transportation to and from the airport of Chania, (25 km), the center of the city of Chania City (20 km), the port of Souda (17 km) or any other destination desired can be arranged by our receptionist.

Public bus transportation (KTEL), to and from the airport, center of the city port and many other destinations is available every half hour daily.  Taxi service, as well as, rental car services are also available upon request.

The two snack bars (Lobby and Pool) are open daily from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, to service the needs of our guests.

Bassinets, booster chairs and cribs are available upon request.
