The island of Zakynthos is the third largest of the Ionian Islands in Greece. It is roughly 125km in length and covers an area of 406 sqkm. Its approxiamate population is 38,000.

The Hotel is consisting primarily of studios and apartments. The studios have one room and the apartments have two. In that space the facilities both for the apartments and the studios are the same.
Koukounaria has a large reception area with plenty of comfortable chairs, television and notice boards to let you know about coming events.

The complex has a large olympic sized fresh-water swimming pool with a separate childrens pool and relaxing jacuzzi. There are plenty of free sunloungers and umbrellas covering a large patio area.

Next to the pool is the hotel's large snack/pool bar. Open from 8:30 am until 9:00pm it serves breakfasts, refreshments and a wide raange of snacks all day long and into the evening. It is very spacious with plenty of tables and chairs.
