The Petali Village Hotel, occupying a wonderful eagles nest position above Apollonia, the capital of Sifnos island, the most traditional of Greek islands and a precious jewel in the Cycladic island group.

Accommodation :

 Our Standard Rooms at the Petali Hotel will accommodate 1 or 2 persons.

The Superior Rooms will accommodate up to 3 persons. They are larger than the standard rooms with the addition of a traditional sofa-bed forming a cosy "living room" corner. Our superior rooms also have a larger, more private veranda.

Our Suites can accommodate a family of up to 4 persons, they comprise of a bedroom, a living room and feature a large veranda.

Our luxurious Apartment is a private building with a large veranda set in our beautiful grounds. It has a bedroom, a living room with 2 sofa-beds and an open fire place. There is also full kitchen facilities including a clothes washing machine.

Fecilities :

 Standard features in all our units at the Petali Hotel include air conditioning/heating, satellite colour TV, a mini bar, direct dial telephones and PC socket, safes deposit boxes, hair dryer, slippers (and bathrobes in suites) private bathrooms with amenities, and a veranda or balcony with panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding countryside.

 In our gourmet restaurant, with panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, you can enjoy the best of International, Mediterranean and local Sifnian Cuisine.

Our fine selection of Entrees, Salads, Main Courses and Deserts are lovingly prepared by the Petali hotel chef using the best produce available, examples include fresh fish, caught by local fishermen each morning and "Mastelo" a local dish of either lamb or young goat, gently cooked in a traditional earthenware pot, in the oven for several hours. Vegetarian dishes are also available.

Typical Sifnos architecture, pure white, with a breathtaking view. Dry stone wall encloses the courtyard with its lush flowerbeds. White canvas chairs and sunshades in the garden and on the verandas. Clean comfortable rooms, simply decorated. With fine view of the village and the sea beyond. Enhanced Continental breakfast is served in your room or in the courtyard.

In the best part of the hotels courtyard. Impeccably laid tables, discreet and efficient service; The cuisine, although based on tradition, has its creative side. Specialties of the island, along with pasta dishes, imaginative salads and a small selection of desserts. A small wine list, but with something to complement every dish.
