Location

Hotel Grand Bleu is located 85km from Athens (about 2 hours drive from Athens’ airport). A long, sandy beach is located in front of our hotel. About 2km by Eretria a favorable tourist destination and about 22km away is Chalkida the island’s capital.

It is an international hotel with guests from all over the world. Colors and pleasures are offered to Grand Bleu. Rooms & Accommodation

The complex consists of 175 rooms. 96 of them as well as 3 suites are situated in the main building. The rest 78 rooms are divided in 6 bungalows that have between 8 and 20 rooms. 11 of these rooms are penthouses

All the rooms include a private bathroom (WC / shower), a hair dryer, a telephone, piped- music, air-condition, safe-box (weekly rental 15 Euro), open-air balcony with view or terrace

The rooms in the main building are recommended between 1 and 3 persons (extra bed for the 3rd person) . TV and satellite channels.

Bungalow’s rooms are recommended for families between 2 and 4 people (extra bed for 3rd and 4th person or camp-bed).

The penthouses are recommended for between 4 and 6 people and include refrigerator and two bathrooms.

Two rooms are specially modified for handicap people.

The suites (2 separate rooms that can accommodate between 2 and 3 people) are located in the 1st and 3rd floor of the main building and have bathroom with Jacuzzi, bath-gown, refrigerator, 2 TV sets with cable and satellite programs, terrace or balcony.  

Services 

• For your convenience : Restaurant in the main building, tavern a la carte on the seashore, 2 bars, disco, animation-theatre, minimarket, jewellery shop, internet café.
• Meals : Meals that are offered to our restaurant in the main building are a wide variety of Greek and international Buffet and are accompanied by unlimited quantity of local wine. Every week is recommended different theme dinners: traditional Greek night, Italian night, etc. Special dinners such as lobster,fresh fish,bbq are offered with additional charge
• Honeymooners : By their arrival, there is a wellcome basket with a range of fruits as well as sparkling wine.
• Single Parent Families : Offers to their children that are displayed in the pricelist concern up to 2 children that are being accommodated in the same room with their parent.
• Children : During the summer vacation (except for Saturdays) at their disposal is a swimming pool, playground, mini-club for ages between 4 and 12 and junior-club for ages between 12 and 16. Many entertainment facilities are devoted to the children such as a BBQ- meal every week. Special beds for babies(babycot) are available as well as special chairs in the Restaurant. You are entitled to apply for babysitting by our special trained staff with additional charge.
• Miscellaneous : Sun beds and umbrellas are available around the pool as well as the beach are free. We can provide you with beach towels if necessary (a guarantee will be needed). Traveler’s check and credit cards (visa or MasterCard) are accepted. Excursions are paid in our hotel either by credit card or by cash. There is bus stop 200m by our hotel that you may use to go to Chalkida, Eretria, Kymi, Karystos. Inside the hotel, a cloth washing service for the guests is available. Car-rental available. Animals are not accepted in the hotel.
• Accommodation All inclusive optional : Meals are available by a wide range of buffet and endless quantity of wine. In our bar in the main building as well as in the swimming pool’s bar, (swimming pool’s bar is open weather permissive) you are eligible to choose many alcohol drinks such as wine, ouzo, beer, gin, whisky, brandy etc by 11.00 to 23.00h. Furthermore, we offer non-alcohol drinks such as coffee, juices, soft drinks, tea etc. By 11.00 to 18.00, we offer ice creams for the children. In the swimming pool’s bar, snacks are available
• Facilities : Swimming pool, basketball courts, beach-volley courts, ping-pong, 2 tennis courts which include lighting, mini-golf (18 holes) water-polo, dart, canoe, windsurfing. With additional charge, there are billiards, video games, water skiing, parasailing, Jet Ski, boat rental is available for fishing or for a ride. Activities on nearby areas and totally independent from our hotel are scuba- diving in Chalkida (17km) or in Alykes (28km), horse riding in Eretria.
