A recently built, ultra romantic retreat for style conscious dreamers and honeymooners, Homeric Poems is a small boutique-style hotel, decorated with quirky flair and perched on a cliff-top terrace at Firostefani, on the outskirts of the island capital FIRA.

It may be stretching a point to claim as we do that Santorini’s sunsets are known as the best in the world but they are certainly up with the best and Hotel Homeric Poems Santorini has a splendid location from which to watch them.

The main swimming pool on a lower cliff-top terrace also looks out on the magnificent blue bay of the Caldera and the neighboring islands.

Accommodation and Rooms:

Nineteen large light apartments and Suites open on to sky-high views of the volcanic Caldera island and are painted in shades of blue, blue-grey and white. Materials are predominantly wood and stone, and colorful island textiles, used for rugs curtains and bed coverings, soften the look. Each apartment is different from its neighbor, and each is a showcase for the proprietor’s eclectic collection of antiques and found objects.

Apartments:

The apartments, each one named after a Homeric character are tastefully decorated with antiques and hand made furniture. They have all the facilities found in a small house. Bedroom area with built in double beds and large living room area with sofas, dining table and small kitchenette. The bathrooms decorated in blue mosaic tiles have showers and all the accessories found in a Deluxe Hotel. The biggest highlight of these apartments is the unique view you can enjoy from the large furnished private terraces.

Superior Suites:
An old captain's house renovated to perfection in 1998 gave its place to our three Superior Suites which can be united into one house able to accommodate up to 12 persons.
The superior suites have a private terrace decorated with its original pebble stone mosaic, with fish designs. White marble floors, original hand made furniture, antiques from the owner's collection, marble bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs and excellent Cycladic architecture make these three suites unique in style, beauty, luxury and comfort.

Honeymoon Suite:
The Honeymoon suite is built on two levels. The lower level is the living room area with traditional furniture and the upper level is the bedroom with matrimonial bed and a big panoramic window in front of it. The other windows are original brass ship's windows. It has a small balcony but the main feature of this beautiful room is the view from the bedroom.

Grand Suite:
In our continuous pursuit of excellence and having luxury, comfort and spectacular views as our primary goals, Homeric Poems has created 3 Grand Suites completed in May 2005.
Each suite occupies an area of approximately 100 sq m with spacious terraces and large private pools. The interior consists of large living room area equipped with B/O sound and visual system, dinning area all complimented with numerous large windows offering breathtaking views of the Aegean, Volcanic islands and during the afternoon the sunset which sets in front of the suites.
The bedroom that leads to the private terrace has a king size bed and an en suite with a large marble jacuzzi lit with optical fibres giving the ceiling a look of a night sky filled with stars.
