:: Location
This charming hotel owned by Pavlos and his family has been running successfully since 1976 . The hotel is located in the small fishing village of Perdika 9km from the hustle and bustle of the beautiful working port at Aegina Town.

:: Rooms
The Hippocampus (seahorse) has 20 rooms all with en-suite bathroom, a TV and a balcony that overlooks either the sea or the mountain.

The rooms have recently been fully refurbished and now boast air conditioning.
You can enjoy your breakfast in the beautiful garden which even has it's own traditional greek church and at night you can have your cocktails served by Pavlos or you can take a 2 minute stroll down to the harbour where there is a wide selection of tavernas for you to relax and take in the wonderful scenery and the fantastic greek hospitality.

:: Garden
Naturally shaded by grape vines, phoenix palms and a spectacular boukamvillia, the garden is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy breakfast or drinks during the summer months. Barbecues are also a regular event.

During the winter months, the same things can be enjoyed in the cosy lounge, in front of the open log fireplace.

:: The Church
Agia Zoni, the small family church in the corner of the garden, celebrates her name day on 31st August. In honour of the occasion, following the traditions associated with the Greek Orthodox Church, a full service is held. Attended by villagers and guests alike, this tradition has been upheld by the Lazarou family since the days long before Hotel Hippocampus, when the Lazarou family had their summer house here.

No one knows the exact age of the original church but in 1922, it was renovated and restored by Pavlo's grandparents. Over the years, it has witnessed several baptisms and weddings.
