Naxos is the largest and bigger island of the Cyclades with an area of 448 square kilometres and a coastline of 148 kilometres long.

Located nearly in the centre of the Cycladic group, Naxos is surrounded by Paros (west), Donoussa (east), Schinoussa and Koufonissia (south) and by Mykonos and Delos (north).
