Onisillos was the king of Salamis, (one of the ancient kingdoms of Cyprus in 500 BC).
He became a king with the help of the people of Salamis. They helped him dethrone his brother. He united all the Greeks of Cyprus in a national uprising against the Persians. Onisillos fell while leading his army in battle.
