Hotel Natura Beach Villas Polis Cyprus

Location

The small town of Polis is located at the north-west end of the island of Cyprus, right at the centre of a beautiful bay and on the edge of the Akamas peninsula nature reserve.

Environment

An important kingdom in ancient times, it now offers a unique combination of unspoilt sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, a beautiful countryside with a very rich wildlife, a very mild climate and the most hospitable and welcoming people.

The beautiful Polis square (15-minute walk from the hotel) offers a variety of traditional Cyprus tavernas and open-air coffee shops and is a meeting place for locals and visitors alike. The small fishing harbour of Latchi is itself another attraction and also provides the area with a daily supply of fresh fish. 

Accomodation

The hotel possesses sixty elegantly decorated twin and double bedrooms in the main building or in the garden wings. Forty of the rooms have a view of the sea and twenty have a view of the Pafos mountains.

They all have a bathroom, individually controlled air-conditioning and heating, satellite TV & radio, direct-dial telephone, a safe deposit box and a balcony or veranda. Maid service daily.

Childrens Fecilities

For the children there is a paddle and playground while the staff will be pleased to provide baby cots and high chairs. Connecting rooms are available on request and baby sitting arrangements can be made. The hotel doctor, who is fluent in English and German, will always be available should the need arise.

Other Fecilities

These include an elegantly decorated TV & Internet Room which also houses a collection of books on nature, a Sun Room with a billiards table and board games, a Gift Shop, a Conference Room, a Lounge and a Reception.Also available is a mini gym and sauna, a tennis court with basketball rings, volleyball and tennis.

The restaurant specializes in traditional Cypriot dishes and healthy diet meals making extensive use of locally grown products including hotel grown vegetables. Buffet and BBQ evenings are also frequent. 
The rich buffet breakfast is served for most of the year on the spacious restaurant porch. The Cocktail Bar,  among others serves a range of hotel produced herbal tea's and freshly squeezed juices from the produce of the hotel orange groves.

Green Fact

The Natura Beach was created and operates in a way which is, above all, respectful and considerate to nature. The characteristic low profile design of the hotel buildings is part of the effort of not imposing upon the surrounding environment. Less visible but equally important are the water and energy saving practices of the hotel. The orange groves and the rose, herb and organic vegetable gardens are irrigated from the hotel’s own well, which also provides the water for the lavatories thus saving valuable drinking water. 

All waste water is treated in a sophisticated biological station. Solar panels are used for heating the water in the villas. All lights and air-conditioning in the bedrooms will go off when the key holder is removed from the slot thus avoiding the waste of energy while the guests are away. The air - conditioning will also go off if the balcony glass doors are not well shut.
