kifissia is located around the Square of Kifissia and its beautiful botanical garden. A green northern suburb of Athens, kifissia grew almost quadruple in  size the last 20 years, after more Athenians moved there in order to escape from the pollution.

However, even if traffic problems has been improved considerably, specifically in the Avenue Kifjsias, the region is perceptibly more upgraded and more elegant than other regions. Most houses are detached houses and the blocks of flats are newly built, very spacious and with a lot of services.

The pavements are beutificated and most streets in the last two years are in the most excellent. All the Kifjssia  is surrounded by tall trees and a lot of green.

The main pole of attraction of the inhabitants of the northern suburbs for its  shopping centre,  restaurants, the extensive athletic activities that are organised by the athletic centres of kifissia which for the last two years have been considerably upgrated from private clubs, and the hotels that exist in the region of Kifjsia.

The commercial region of Kifjsia begins from the Avenue Kifissias and it is extended for roughly one kilometre at the Square of Kefalari. A number of small but elegant restaurants, with good food and very good lists of wines, offer the possibility for variety of choices. Finally, the swimming-pools, tennis clubs, the spa and gyms in this region, him have made the centre of Athens with regard to the athletic activities. 

The electric railway Kifissia - Piraeus, has its last station in the Square of Kifjsja, and  links the suburbs with the centre of Athens and the network of Underground, that is met in the Square of Omonia and  Monastiraki. Lastly many airconditioned buses cross the Avenue Kifjsias to the centre of Athens.
