Nearest Beaches and Sports

There are several very attractive beaches surrounding Athens, with Vouliagmeni being one of the most popular, since it’s a lively resort town in less than a half hour drive away from Athens, the ideal choice for a combined sea-side city vacation.

Hera hotel is situated at the Apollo coast which originates in Athens and stretches for Piraeus, the port if Attica, to the southern at Cape Sounion, covering a distance of 40km. Driving along the coast reveals an amazing scenic.

Just outside the Athens metropolitan area, there is the pine studded beach of Vouliagmeni and its elegant town, one of the most exclusive resorts of Greece with deluxe hotels and gourmet restaurants.

A yacht marina and two popular beach clubs can be found here, offering water sports as well as tennis, basketball and volleyball.
