The hotel Carolina is located in a very safe area, just one min. walk away from Plaka, 15min. walk away from the Acropolis, the national gardens, the parliament and from most important sites. Located in the center of Athens so it gives you the best opportunity to use public transportation.

Only 5 min. walk from the 3 most central metro stations of the athenian metro system, and also 5/10 min.
Away from syntagma sq. and omonia sq. where the main bus stop are.
You can take the bus to the airport from Syntagma square (in front of the Parliament) and to Syntagma sq. from the airport.
There is also a chance to take the "express metro" (blue line or line 3) from the airport to Monastiraki takes about 40 min. and it is quite faster.

Either you get down to monastiraki or syntagma sq., the hotel is between these two station and will take you about 5 minutes walk.

How to get to CAROLINA HOTEL ATHENS ***

Taxis are available at any time and can be found everywhere in the city.

The blue metro line can be taken from the airport in order to reach Monastiraki station (duration 34 minutes approximately), which is 5 minutes walking away from our hotel.

Furthermore, bus E95 can be taken from the airport to Syntagma square (The Parliament square), which takes around 45 minutes. Syntagma square is 10 minutes approximately walking away from the hotel.
