At the southern suburb of Glyfada, about 20 km southwest of Athens.

A sandy beach with all-day beach bars and a self service restaurant, very near downtown Glyfada. The beach features water trampolines, see-saws and a beach volley area. There are cafes, taverns, and all kinds of facilities and services nearby.  

Open 8 am to 9 pm.

Accessible through all public buses that reach Glyfada and also the new tram, which passes by the beach.

The sea here is not the best: the water is shallow and becomes murky with the slightest wave; but the landscape is pretty.
